Now, ain’t he a lucky fella?
Does he have the right to decide?
So the victims only have a say over how the aid intended for them is to be spent ‘until the rebuilding is completed’. Now, who does Bill think he is, to decide when that is? What about loss of lives, livelihood, widows, orphans? When will the rebuilding of their lives be done?
Of course he did. If he didn’t, then he should take action against BBC. If he didn’t, then how can someone quote him so accurately? What do you think? If I had to bet, I’ll wager that he is guilty as charged. Let’s see what happens next. This is getting more intriguing by the minute.
So how does re-printing news from foreign papers
hurt the image of Malaysia? Just because you do not reproduce the news locally doesn’t mean that people out there are not reading them.
Missing the point, deliberately?
I read with incredulity the comments made by the assistant chief of police in response to one of the biggest uproars against the police force in recent years. Is he so out of touch with public sentiments? Maybe he is. After all, these VIPs get chauffeured driven, with police escort, everywhere they go. They probably have bodyguards to prevent the public getting too close to him. As he is not a politician, he’s not obliged to mingle with the public. Little wonder, then. But is there a more sinister plot behind this story? Is this just the tip of a much bigger iceberg?
After a long deliberation, decided to set up this website / blog.
